About BookTree Publishing Real support. Real clarity. Real people.

BookTree Publishing exists to offer Australian authors something rare in the publishing world: honest guidance, down-to-earth support, and a team who genuinely cares about both you and your story.

Why BookTree Exists

Publishing Support Without the Overwhelm

After working with emerging and established authors across Australia, we saw the same challenges again and again: confusion about the publishing process, a lack of clear information, big promises with little follow-through, and authors who felt rushed, pressured, or dismissed.

BookTree was created to be the opposite. Every writer deserves to feel supported, respected and empowered — no matter their experience, age or background. Our approach is built on education, transparency and collaboration.

Our Philosophy

Support That’s Calm, Clear and Ethical

Publishing shouldn’t feel like a maze. We break the process into calm, manageable steps so you always know what’s happening, why it matters, and what comes next and more importantly, how much it will cost.

Clarity We use plain English, not industry jargon, so you understand every stage of your book’s journey.
Integrity No hidden fees or surprise conditions — just honest, transparent guidance from start to finish.
Respect Your book, your voice, your rights. We help refine your work without erasing your personality.
Care & Community Writing is personal. We approach each project with care, and connect you with a broader community of support.

A Note From the Team

You Don’t Have to Navigate Publishing Alone

“Every writer, regardless of experience, deserves to feel seen, supported and confident. BookTree was built on the belief that publishing doesn’t have to be confusing or overwhelming — it can be gentle, guided and empowering.

You don’t need to know every industry term or have everything ‘perfect’ before you reach out. If you have a story and the desire to share it, we’re here to help you bring it to life in a way that feels authentic, professional and true to who you are.”
